For many years, Sparta UMC has been a church dedicated to peace and justice, following the example of Jesus. On June 3, 2012, we received designation by NJ Peace Action as an official Peace Site.
In addition to our Peace Pole, we also have a beautiful outdoor labyrinth, which is used by the church and community.
Our hearts and doors are open to everyone without exception. We follow Christ’s example of unconditional love, affirming the sacred worth of every person regardless of their background, belief, or identity.
