Havertown United Methodist Church in the suburbs of resulted from the merger of Hope United Methodist Church and Union United Methodist Church in early 2022.

Havertown United Methodist Church is a welcoming, multi-campus congregation in the heart of Havertown, Pennsylvania, committed to living out Christ’s love through radical inclusion and compassionate service. With worship and community life centered at both the Union and Hope Campuses, Havertown UMC celebrates the sacred worth of every person and actively seeks to be a place where all can belong. The congregation affirms the dignity of all people regardless of race, age, culture, citizenship, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, economic situation, family configuration, or ability.

Grounded in the Wesleyan call to faith in action, Havertown UMC engages its neighborhood through ministries of mercy, justice, and hospitality.
