Judicial Council Set to Hear Stroud Case October 27th in Houston

Around the country, vigils and prayer sessions Wednesday evening (Oct 26) and Thursday at 9 am, (CST) to offer prayers for Beth Stroud and her legal team that they may speak with all the faith and truth at their command. Prayers will be offered also for the United Methodist Church that it may understand the pain and injustice that its actions cause, and turn from its increasing willingness to worship law, and instead remember the spirits of love, grace and inclusiveness that are the foundation of our denomination. We remember, we take joy and consolation, and we long for the day when all will join hands with us and sing with joy. "For the law kills, but the spirit gives life . . . "
